The Corner Shop planned and implemented the full campaign for World Book Day 2018, culminating in an estimated social media reach of 25.9 million people and over 7.3 billion readers.
The campaign involved numerous different aspects including #ShareAStoryIn10, The Biggest Book Show on Earth and the WoBoD award. Each aspect of the campaign was incredibly successful with #ShareAStoryIn10, reaching nearly 10 million Twitter impressions. Full results for the launch of the campaign can be found here.
There was a superb social media response to the whole campaign, but particularly on the day itself, where #WorldBookDay was the top trend in the UK for nine consecutive hours.
The national media also responded positively to the campaign, with over 4 times as many pieces recorded compared to the previous year and personalities such as musician Tom Fletcher, cyclist Sir Chris Hoy and TV presenter Clare Balding showing their support through different social media channels.
The results below were generated between 28th September 2017 and 28th March 2018, clearly demonstrating the success and widespread appeal of the campaign.
