Frantic Assembly is an internationally renowned theatre company celebrated for its physical and collaborative approach and are currently studied as leading contemporary theatre practitioners on five academic syllabuses, nationally and internationally. Frantic Assembly also deliver Ignition, a national, free training programme for young men aged 16 – 20.
Frantic Assembly completed a major UK tour of their celebrated version of Othello in 2015; choreographed primetime Channel 4 and AMC TV series Humans; and are the Movement Directors of the award-winning National Theatre of Great Britain production The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (West End, Broadway, UK & Ireland Tour). In 2016 Frantic Assembly and State Theatre Company of South Australia presented, Things I Know To Be True, a new play by Andrew Bovell.
Frantic Assembly and Coventry University’s Master’s degree course, MA Collaborative Theatre Making, began in January 2016. The degree offers professional level training for contemporary artists from all disciplines, working in a global context. Coventry University was awarded The Times Higher Education Award for University of the Year 2015 and Modern University of the Year for 2014, 2015 and 2016.
