Find out what previous interns at The Corner Shop have to say about us and what they did next:

"The Corner Shop Internship gave me an invaluable insight into theatre PR, through observation and hands on experience ... Most importantly it was thoroughly enjoyable to work with such a charming, warm and above all wonderfully fun team!".
Joanna, April - June 2009 (Central School of Speech & Drama)

"I was given the help and guidance I needed in order to know how to complete a task, but also the freedom to prioritise and complete tasks in my own way so I could develop my own initiative."
Laura, July 2009 (4media Relations)

"I met movers and shakers from every corner of the industry, and gained invaluable experience which immediately impressed other employers after I left."
Catrin, Oct – Nov 2009 (Media Officer for National Theatre Wales)

"I was pushed to get the most out of the experience, and guided every step of the way. I gained a great deal of confidence and awareness of the industry and left, reluctantly, feeling like a member of the team."
Polly, Jan – March 2010 (Movement Director)

"The valuable experience I gained at The Corner Shop PR made me ready for an entry-level role in the industry that came much quicker than I expected. After only a month and half  I was offered a job as a press assistant in the west end."
Charlotte, April – May 2010 (Sue Hyman Associates)

"I learnt a huge amount about the industry, made some great contacts for the future and acquired the confidence and work experience necessary to go out and successfully apply for professional roles."
Kate, Jan – July 2010 (Communications Officer, Audiences London)

"At the moment, I am thinking about my own career options as I leave university soon. I know for a fact that this opportunity has already made me stand out in the overcrowded graduate employment market. Whatever your plans may be, this internship is certainly worth an application."
Tom, June – July 2010 (Marketing and Press Assistant, The Corner Shop PR)

"I have no doubt that this experience was the single most important decision I’ve made in starting my career, and would unreservedly encourage anyone interested in arts marketing and PR to consider this internship. It will be the best decision you ever make!"
Lyndsey, February – April 2011(Marketing Assistant, EMG)

"The Corner Shop should be the industry standard on how to run an internship. My experience here has truly opened my eyes to what one can achieve as an intern. The kind and welcoming atmosphere is constant and you are given real responsibilities in which to learn and grow within the industry. I left with a new level of confidence in my professional self and I guarantee the same for any future intern!"
