The re-opening of Alexandra Palace’s East Wing launched on Saturday 1st December with a weekend packed full of interactive arts events including performances and workshops by the BBC Concert Orchestra and the BBC Singers. The restoration process has breathed new life into a space that has been hidden for over 80 years.  Preserved in a beautiful state of arrested decay and frozen in time, the complex work has created a space that retains the charm and character of the theatre while being fit to host contemporary productions.

The Alexandra Palace Theatre is one of only two buildings given 5 stars by the BBC’s Arts Editor!
